Today we wrote a paragraph explaining what you got out of yesterday's video on writing using the notes you made. The purpose of the piece was to give me a good sample of your writing and for you to find a way to respond to the video in your own way. A rubric was handed out that covered the marking criteria and it was stapled to the writing and handed in with the notes. After that, you were asked to read the story 'Test' in Ten Top Stories. You can read this online if you go to my webpage and click on the short story link and find the link to Test. Most people completed both activities with lots of time to spare. We were going to watch a little video on subject and predicate but the Internet connection went down in my room again!!! No homework.
